Welcome to the Sport of Diving

I’m excited that you’ve stopped in to learn about the many opportunities that diving provides. Springboard and platform diving offers the best of both worlds: team environment and individual accomplishment. Home School, High School, College or Independent Divers can all pursue high level competition through the sport of diving; via club or academic institutions.

Because diving in a relatively small sport, the likelihood of reaching a regional, conference or zone championship is very high, providing you have a good coach and a place to train. Diving is one the sports that allows an athlete to work independently, without coordinating with the other members of the team. As a matter of fact, a diver can participate in the AAU or USA Diving as independent members.

Although a swimming and diving team registers wins and losses based on the overall performance of all the athletes, the divers also compile their own win/loss record based on their individual performance; meaning that a diver can go far as individuals without regard for the performance of the larger team.

Feel free to send a message and ask questions; I’m always happy to help.
